Duties and Responsibilities of Officers
Captain
He/she will maintain the role and leadership as president of the organization. Secures all performances, conducts and schedules all meeting, and make sure the organization maintains focus on all goals set forth for the organization. He/she will be required to do a double check of the end of the year reports from the secretary and treasurer before the beginning of the next academic year.
Co-Captain
He/she will maintain the role and duties of Captain upon his/her absence. He/she has the responsibility of coordinating the practices and work with the music chair to help acquire music for every performance.
Secretary
He/she is in charge of all correspondence, including minutes for all meetings, maintaining team email accounts, and storing and filing correspondence. He/she will must compile and turn in an end of the year performance report to the Multicultural Affairs Office.
Treasurer
He/she handles all finances for the organization. He/she is responsible for collecting dues, keeping a record of the balance, and keeping a record of all the monies received, spent, and its purpose. He/she must turn in an end of the year expenditure report to the Captain for approval within two weeks of the last day of school.
